Having trouble with a few things since upgrading to v.9.2.1

Permalink Browser Info Environment
My site was in good shape until I upgraded from core ver. 8.5.1 to 9.2.1. I did this in hopes of finding compatibility with PHP v.8.1 which is required by the PayPal payment gateway for the Community Store. Here are some things I'm noticing:

- several fonts changed in size (and it appears I can no longer change font size in customize)
- Parallax no longer works
- switching to PHP v.8 or greater crashes the site.

Can you help me with any of this?

Hi there!

I hope you are well and apologies for not responding sooner.

I see that the license for the theme is linked to WFCCC.net. Is the updated version of the theme on production? What are the error messages displayed when the site crashes. Can you also please give me a reference of the correct font size the site should be using?

If you hve a development instance of your site, can you please try disabling the add-ons one by one just to rule out that its not a plugin thats causing the issue?

Hi James,

Thanks for your reply.
I have updated the Framework Theme from 1.7.9 to 1.8.
Examples of font size changes are:
- menu text is much smaller
- header text, which is set to H5, is much smaller
- I can no longer find where to adjust the Heading text sizes

The crash was related to the PHP version used. That seems to have been resolved with the update of the theme to 1.8. I can now run PHP 8.2! So that is taken care of.

I would still like to know how to adjust the Heading font sizes and how to get the Parallax block working.

Hi

I’m glad you got the crashing issue resolved.

There has been a significant change to the design customization on version 9. I might be able to debug quicker if you can grant me a temp access to your site. Otherwiae the quickest fix to the font issue is to add custom styles in the dashboard.

Let me know if you need help writing custom styles to fix you issue.

Greetings,

I'm still having trouble with the Framework theme since upgrading to Concrete v.9x.
Frequently, when I click to edit this pops up:

/home/wfccc/public_html/packages/c5box_framework/blocks/image_slider/templates/c5box_fullslider/view.php
<?php defined('C5_EXECUTE') or die("Access Denied.");
$navigationTypeText = ($navigationType == 0) ? 'arrows' : 'pages';
$c = Page::getCurrentPage();
if ($c->isEditMode()) { ?>
    <div class="ccm-edit-mode-disabled-item" style="width: <?php echo $width; ?>; height: <?php echo $height; ?>">
        <div style="padding: 40px 0px 40px 0px"><?php echo t('Image Slider disabled in edit mode.')?></div>
    </div>
<?php  } else { ?>
<script>
$(window).on('load', function() {
    $(function () {
        $("#ccm-image-slider-<?php echo $bID ?>").responsiveSlides({
            prevText: "", // String: Text for the "previous" button
            nextText: "",

Any ideas? I'll private message you login credentials if you want to take a look at it.
Sorry for the delay in communication. I was on vacation for a couple of weeks. Just getting back to this website work now.

Thanks for any help!

Hi James,

I had some traveling to do and had to put this on hold, but I'm back at it now.

Currently, I still have a number of issues I need to resolve. I want to use the Community Store and connect it to PayPal but the PayPal connection requires 8.x PHP and it looks like parts of my site break (home page slider) when I try to edit a page while using v 8.x PHP.

Secondarily, I would like to use the Design/Customize function to adjust font sizes but it appears that option either moved or was eliminated with Concrete v.9x? Or is this the fault of Framework theme on v9x of Concrete? I would like to modify the sizes of H1, H2, H3, etc..

I sent you a PM with login info to my site, do you still have that and could you take a look for me?

Thanks!
Steve
