Concrete5 version 8.2 compatibility?
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Quick question:
Is fundamental well on it's way to 8.2 compatibility or is 8.2 support something that will be delayed until after release? I am considering moving to fundamental from my current theme, but may wait until 8.2 is released.
thanks

Just tested it out - it almost works!
But something goes wrong with the way you load googlefonts.css
Resource interpreted as Stylesheet but transferred with MIME type text/html: "http://www.mysite.com/fundamental/css/googlefonts.css".
index.php?cID=1:161 GEThttp://www.mysite.com/packages/fundamental/themes/fundamental/css... net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
We tested the same on SuperMint3 and found that you have to create the header in the php before transfering the file as css ( header("Content-Type: text/css"); ). I tried to add ( type="text/css" ) to the end of line 25 of /elements/head.php but it's not enough because the header is not created!
Sorry, but I can't find the good solution for this! I hope you will correct this asap...

Yes, you are right, the response header needs to be set to text/css. We have worked a solution in to the package and will release to the marketplace soon.
Cool...
Now available as an upgrade (4.0.3) ;)
It's now tested and works as expected...
Thank's...
Thank's...
Until 8.2 arrives we can't be completely sure if everything will work - however, as ever anything that needs adjusting will be made a priority.
I wouldn't imagine there would be many changes required if any at all, as this theme follows the standards set out by concrete5.
Cheers
