Errors with PHP 8.2

Attempting to edit the home page:

Undefined variable $rows
packages/c5box_genesis/blocks/page_list/templates/c5box_plist_4col_carousel/view.php:16
This happens with PHP 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2 but not with 7.4, which is EOL and shouldn't be used. I imagine there are many other variables/templates that are undefined and will cause similar errors.
