Background Image

Permalink Browser Info Environment
As usual, great theme. I have a client for whom this would be perfect and have started to apply it to pages. I need to replace the concrete55 background (I know, sort of defeats the intent of the theme) with either an image or file set from the File Manager, or a single image. I can't find where the call is being made to get the c5 background image. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Tim

Hello and thanks for buying our theme.

As you've already recognised this isn't really the intention of this
theme, but you are free to modify the theme, we just can't support you
with that.

To point you in the right direction the image is loaded using Ajax. There
is a script in the footer of the theme, that calls a tools file, you can
modify the scripts or delete and replace with some CSS I would imagine.
Please keep a copy of the theme prior to changing so you can roll back
should you need to.

FYI we plan a version of this theme that will allow you to do this. It's a
couple of weeks away I would guess given our current workload.

Good luck with it.

Best

Ollie

My wife and I spent like two hours looking at themes and we loved this one, but just wanted to customize the header image. I know it is terrible that folks keep asking about this, but I guess that's what you get for designing awesome themes :)

Anyhow, we just bought this one and I noticed that you guys said you were a few weeks out from a customizable version. I messaged you on your site about this as well so if you could let me know when this might be available that would be awesome.

Hello

The customizable version is still some time away. We're working on other projects. It will be a different theme rather than this one as customizable background.

This one is for people who want to expose the fact they are using concrete5 or just benefit from a really attractive background picture which changes daily. We've not seen a bad dashboard image picture yet!

I'm glad I read the review and this forum question. If I purchased the theme I would definitely want to be able to change the background image. I'm looking forward to the new version that adds this functionality.

I appreciate all the great work you guys produce for concrete5.

Thanks for the change - works like a boss. I've been swamped the last few days but would like to schedule a skype call with you to discuss a few other things. I'll respond to your email this week.

Above and beyond the call of duty. I did figure out how to use a plain background and an image background in the header, but this will help even more. Thanks!
