TC Slider + Ajax

i would like to show page lists, using either ajax loading for blog entries, or the tc slider plugin for showing multiple pages within one slide (unless you know of a better workaround to access different parts of a site) the idea would be to use a 2 block layout, one block controlling the what the other block discplays

This sounds like a great idea!
I have never used the tcSlider, but it looks very promising. There are also several Ajax add-ons in the marketplace that should work.
Also, if you need a clean, simple and free solution, you can take a look at the following block:

I've just tested this block with my theme and it seems to work fine. (The blocks is very easy to install, but you'll have to style it through css and maybe make some changes if you want to include page thumbnails, etc.)
