Cant get first slide to display full height.

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Jordi,

Very nice theme! Have installed here:http://91.109.7.116/~radiuswebdesignc/

Your documentation here:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/long-story-short1/how-t... was Ok but the item here:http://concrete5.15robots.com/tutorials/getting-started-long-story-... was much better and nearly answered my question on how to make the first slide full height - here:

"However, we still want our first and last slides to be full-height (100% height). To achieve this, we put the page in Edit Mode, click on the Slide area, choose the Edit Area Design option and click on the Gear Icon to select the "full-height" custom class."

I went to where you indicated and there was no option in Custom Class for 'full-height'!!

See attached image.

Either there is a bug or I'm doing something wrong!

Your thoughts please?

Ian

Hi Jordi,

I think I found this. You edit the Area not the block - I think. I am new to 5.7 so am not quite sure what button I pressed...... You could possibly re inform this on the documentation!

Thanks however.

Hi Ian,

thanks for the nice words.

Yes, that's it, you need to click on the Slide area, not the blocks within.

Please note that the second link you mention is the documentation for the 5.6 version of the theme, so some things do not apply to the version you're using (5.7). Many things have changed from Concrete 5.6 to 5.7

Here is the documentation for the 5.7 version and a quick "getting started" tutorial:

http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/long-story-short1/how-t...
http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/long-story-short1/tutor...

Anyway you're right, I'm afraid this was missing in the 5.7 documentation, I need to add it.

Thanks for the heads up!

Jordi
