Permalink Browser Info Environment
had to uninstall C5 and re install. I don't want to purchase the same theme again for the same site! so how do i get the theme without having to re-purchase for the same project? Very frustrating as I was getting some good progress. Then suddenly i was un able to edit or have anywhere to select. zero content and no way to get to the dashboard or anything.

Hi,

first, sorry to hear this.

This is weird, not sure what could have happened to your C5 installation.

I know it won't help now, but it's always good to take regular backups, just in case something goes wrong.

Obviously, you don't need to purchase the theme again. If you log in to concrete5.org with your account and go to Profile -> Projects, you should be able to see all your sites. If you click on your previous project/site (the one you assigned the license to), you'll be able to see all add-ons and themes that are linked to that project. Next to each theme and add-on, there is a red button ("Release from project") that allows you to release the license from the project.

Once you have released the license, you'll be able to assign it to your new project.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

By the way, if you ever have this problem again (not being able to edit the site), feel free to send me a link and I'll have a look. Sometimes, if there is a problem with the page you are editing, you can still get to the dashboard by visitingwww.www.yoursite.com/index.php/dashboard.... Then, once in the dashboard, you can access the Sitemap and roll back to a previous working version of the page you were editing.

Also, if you have any other problems and are unable to get the theme to work, just let me know and I'll grant you a refund.

Best regards,

Jordi
