Product Detail page using Merchwear with ecommerce

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi folks,

Using Merchwear out of the box with ecommerce, the product detail page doesn't seem to diplsay any content.

Could any other users with this theme confirm whether or not they are using the "Product_Detail" page type or the "Product_List" page type.

If using the "Product_Detail" page type, did you need to do any tweaking to get content to display. I've logged some support questions, however I think Michael may be away, so putting this out to the wider community.

Searching through both the support area and the forums did turn up some mention by other users that there was a bug, but no reference if this was ever fixed.

Anyway, just putting this out there in case someone has solved this already. I'd rather not start tweaking CSS or PHP files just yet as I am trying to learn some best practice, and my skill levels are far from it!

Hi, I'm having the same issue.. Just wondering if you found a solution for the 'product_detail' page not returning any content? I haven't requested support from Vivid yet? Kind regards, Wendy.

Hi Wendy,

I think that the out of the box option could probably improve some of the documentation / default page setup. May I suggest you lodge a support question so that the developer can see where people are getting stuck?

I ended up using a product list page and modified it for use as the default product detail page. Buzz me if you get stuck with setting default product pages.

Hi everyone!

There is a new update available that should address the issues you're having.
If you're still having issues please make sure you make a support ticket again.

Thanks!
