Permalink Browser Info Environment
How do I link a URL to an icon?
Do I have to add HTML code to:
<div class="icon- FloatLeft icon-2x"></div>

Thanks in advance.

Hi Willem,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you.

Yes, the best way to link up the icons would be the same way as adding them to your site with a bit of HTML in the HTML block or code view in the Concrete5 editor, it would look something like this:

<a href="#"><div class="icon-facebook FloatLeft icon-2x"></div></a>

In the above example for a facebook icon where there is a "#" that is where you would place the link for your chosen icon.

so for example for me to link to my Twitter account it would look like this:

<a href="https://twitter.com/Vidall_Themes"><div class="icon-twitter FloatLeft icon-2x"></div></a>

Hope that helps, let me know if you run into any problems.

Regards

David

Hmmm, something strange. The new code disappears. Even if I copy your complete twitter code, it disappears. Do you know a reason for that?
Thanks.
Cheers,

Is it definitely going into a HTML block or being inserted into the code view in the Concrete editor? if not it will disappear.

If you have, put it in a code block or in the HTML view, and its still not playing ball send me over some admin login details and a link to your site in a PM and I will take a look for you.

Regards

David
