5.5 issues

Has anyone else had trouble changing header/footer content in stacks? It's suggested we don't use scrapbook anymore, but the theme doesn't seem to read from stacks.

Hi, thanks for your question. I've actually just uploaded a new version of one of my other themes (Anim8ed) last night which has new code to make it more 5.5 friendly (you can see the announcement on our Twitter page:http://twitter.com/c5extras). I'll be integrating this same code on my other existing themes, including Night City over the next few days.

In the meantime, if you wanted to switch out the code for scrapbooks to stacks in your theme, here's the article on the C5 site which some sample code:

Otherwise, please follow us on Twitter so you'll be the first to know as soon as the update is available.

I appreciate your patience.

Will this also fix the problem with changing background/nav colors in the dashboard?

I've created the revised version and am testing on one of my development sites at the moment. Hopefully once my kids go to be tonight I'll have some time to wrap it up and get the new version on the marketplace.

I'm not aware of an issue with the colour customiser in the Dashboard. Can you please clarify?

Under dashboard/pages & themes/themes is a list of currently installed themes with the ability to customize. Some themes have more options than others. Your theme has quite a few options, but when I change the color for different elements, it doesn't change in either the preview or on the real page.

Ah, that's an easy one. Just clear the cache. In the "intelligent search", search for "cache". Once you clear the C5 cache it will work fine. This is the same for all themes.

Hope this helps.
