Re-Connect to Community do not work

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, I cannot at the moment add or get Add-Ones or update anything on my site. I should re-connect to community, but the button do not work. It refuse to connecthttp://www.concrete5.org

Error message: 'The base URL of your site does not match a registered instance of the site. Please click below to authenticate your site again'.

I have changed the site url when published it (building time url to official domain). Normally I can re-connect to community again but this time it doesn't work.

I think this is more Concrete5 system fault than theme, but can somebody help me how fix it?
Do I have to release this theme from project and connect again?

Hi,

Definitely it's a concrete5 support issue rather than a theme support one but I might be able to help.

Can you check the config file? The new URL might not be saving to it. If you've moved the site from a development server to a new domain/URL the correct permissions might not be set on the folder, so when you change it in the back end maybe it's not actually updating.

Might not be the issue, but it's somewhere to start at least.

I was on holidays when I wrote you that initial reply and I might have been giving you some out of date information when I didn't have my computer with me to check the file structure.

Can you give me a day or two now that I'm back in the office to check this thoroughly and I'll reply then.

I think you might have to edit this through your main concrete5.org profile.

If I've read things correctly, you have associated this installation through the cms at another domain. You should see it through Projects in your profile.

Delete it from your profile and then go back in to the dashboard and you'll see an error, but click the connect button again and you should be able to set it up on the new domain.

Thank you a lot!
This went exactly as you described. Now my site is re-connected to community again :)
