Center table in content block

Ok, I feel like I'm missing something terribly simple. I'm trying to center a table in a content area block using the silence theme. The WYSIWYG editor can't seem to do it, so I choose to view the HTML for the content block and have tried all sorts of ways to get the table to center. None seem to work.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

The best way is to add a width and a auto margin to your table with a 600px for example :
<table style="width:600px; margin:0 auto">
