Background image for header area not showing

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,

I've followed the instructions of adding the following code to the "Add Your CSS" under the "Customize" area for this theme:

header { background-image:url(https://www.yourdomain.com/packages/theme_slate/themes/slate/images/backgrounds/imagename.png); }

Am I messing the code up somehow? Can I get a way with (//www... without specifying https or http?

Thanks,
-concreteart

Yes, you need at least the http:// (you don't need https unless you need it to be a secure url. But did you changehttp://www.yourdomain.com to your actual domain in that code? And did you upload your image to packages/theme_slate/themes/slate/images/backgrounds? And change the "imagename.png" to the actual name of your image file? You might also want to clear your site's cache afterwards.

Yes, I used the actual domain name with the actual image filename, which I also have uploaded to the /backgrounds directory... So I'm kind of stumped on this.

Thank you for your help on this.

Hi,

The site is still in maintenance mode as it is not ready to go live. However, as soon as I put it live I will send you a PM with the link.

Thank you for your help!
