Exclude subpages in autonav.
Permalink Browser Info Environment
I need to exclude subpages in the main menu.
Basically, I need this add-on:

But it doesn't work with my version of concrete5.
Is there a way to do it manually – if not on each menu item, then disable it completely?

No, you will have to check the Exclude from Nav box on any page/subpage you dont want to show in the navigation.
I had the same problem with a blog I used this linkhttps://raw.github.com/jordanlev/c5_clean_block_templates/master/aut... It's from JordanLev. It's working like charm. Just follow the instruction.
Hi folks,
I'm using the Slate template with Pro Blog and have a similar query. Each new ProBlog Post creates a new page / menu link under the main Blog header. (live e.g.http://www.colinhunt.com.au/)
I went into the page defaults and ticked the 'Exclude From Nav' in the page properties area, but this doesn't carry over to new pages created by the Add new poat. Manually accessing the page after it is created allows me to tick 'Exclude From Nav' and it disappears.
Chris, are you saying that this is the correct process and mike, are you saying that changing some details found in the view.php file from Jordan solved this issue? Just wanted to check I'm getting this correct.
I'll post in Pro Blog also as I'm not sure if this is a Concrete core, Theme or Add-on issue.
Cheerio for now.
James

Just an update on this, Chad has posted a work around that includes a useful video showing how to solve this isue.

Essentially hiding the Blog parent page, renaming it and then creating an external link to that page using the original name "Blog".
Very easy and I learnt about the external links feature!

James,
This is a different issue than what the original poster posted. The original issue is a known bug in the autonav template that doesnt exclude subpages under a page that has been Excluded From Nav (and causes those subpages to show up under (in dropdown menus) the page before it in the sitemap.
In your case, yes you would have to go in each post page and check exclude from nav. Chad's solution looks like a good one. Thanks for posting it.
