International characters problem in page description (page-meta)

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am from Lithuania so we have national (ąčęėįšųūž) letters. At first problem detected in Firefox with Lato font in menu. It is not showing correctly Lithuanian characters. Not all but only some of them ("ė" in particular). In menu I simply changed to terms that do not have these problematic characters. But in page description (page-meta) text I would like to be able to use them. So I started to change font in there (in main.css file). Change to other fonts solved problem in Firefox, in Android, but problem remain in Internet Explorer...

Hmmm, I'm really not sure about this (I dont really have experience in this area). I'm sure it's because the font Lato doesnt have those characters included but not sure why after changing the font it's not working in IE. Did you clear your browser's cache? Maybe search the main forums here and see if someone else has had this issue.
