Logo overlapping large image

Hi - I am wanting to overlap a logo over an image on the front page and subsequent pages. Is this possible - I would usually use absolute positioning for this but then there is a problem with responsive re-sizing. Please see attachement - is this possible with your grid?

I would think you should still be able to use absolute positioning though. You could also try setting a negative bottom margin, but you would probably have to remove overflow:hidden from header and #feature.
