Main Navigation menu disappears when shrink window or viewing on smartphone

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,

For some reason I see that the main navigation menu completely disappears when viewing it on my android phone, or when on my laptop when I make the browser window smaller.

I'm wondering if I messed something up, or if this is how it is currently functioning and if there is a way to correct this.

Thanks!

Can you post a link to your site so I can take a look?
Does it do that on the demo site?http://c5mix.com/demos/theme/slate/...

Hi c5mix,

I just sent you a PM. The demo site seems to work fine as the menu collapses properly, where mine is completely disappearing for some reason.

Thank you for taking a look!

I have a different navigation bar issue on iPhone. The theme functions properly if viewed on desktop (Safari 7.0.2 on Mavericks) regardless of the pixel dimension of the browser viewing area but it is a problem when viewed on iPhone (Safari on latest iOS7).

The problem is that second level and third level pages are not visible on iPhone browser. On the c5mix demo page, a page with the depth being equal or greater to Drop Down Level Two does not show up in the navigation bar.

I'm not sure about Android terminals.

Can this be fixed?

Thanks,

Ryuji

I'm not seeing this issue at all. Can you post a screenshot or what it looks like for you?

Actually... I think this "problem" was caused by the fact the rounded square button in the right end of the menu items is too small and the bar outside the button gets pressed. This happens way too often on iPhone with my finger. If you could make that button a bit less prone to mis-operation the problem would be solved. Thanks! Ryuji
