Marketing Landing page - can't remove nav block

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi there,

I'm using the slate theme and need to make a marketing landing page.

I need to have the just the landing page type have no navigation bar or footer (that is consistent through all the pages) but still need to add blocks as required.

I have tried creating a new page type called landing_page and it is using the Slate theme, however I can't configure it to not have the nav or the footer. In the default section, those items are permanent.

Thank you for any thoughts about this.

Cheers

The easiest solution would probably be to go to the page in edit mode and click on Properties->Custom Attributes. Add Header Extra Content attribute. In that field add the following:

<style type="text/css">
nav, footer { display:none!important; }
</style>
