Repositioned Site Logo margins on secondary pages

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

I have been able to edit the main.css file to move the site navigation to float right. I have positioned the site logo where I want it, but the design settings only hold on the home page.

If I should edit the main.css file, I am willing but I don't know where to look.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've seen an issue with block styles in global stacks before with another client. Try switching the theme to default theme and then back again. Also try clearing the site cache.

Chris,

Thanks. I actually decided to uninstall and then reinstall concrete5 as well as the slate theme. With a clean install all around, the problem persists.

Is there a location where I can handcode the logo position? Open to any other solutions as well.

You'll want to edit #logo in the main.css file

Thanks, but no matter what I do, the logo appears correctly only on the home page. On the other pages, my margins do not hold and the background of the transparent .png is no longer transparent.

At this point I have opted to place the logo in the header and then position it on each page. Not an elegant solution, but it appears to be working.

Ok, really weird. So you tried changing the theme on each individual page, publishing, then changing the theme back to Slate and publishing again? And cleared the cache?

Chris,

Unless I am missing something, my options are to change the theme on every page at once or cancel. I could have altered something that jumbled things up, but I use the slate theme on another site with no problems at all.

Thanks for the help.

So, for example on your about page click Edit->Design and change the theme to Default. Then publish. Then go back in and change it back to Slate and publish. This seemed to work for someone else that had a similar problem.
