Column title area and bottom text area

On my website I don't have what is called "left column title area" and "bottom text" area on the demo site. I would like to get these blue boxes with round corners...

try going to the Dashboard>Themes>Page Types and activating the 'home' page type and the 'three column' page type. Then, choose these when you are designing your page.
