Blog header image 960 x 212

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Chris,

I've started to implement a blog with your Treviso theme on this site: http://www.okanagancustomhomes.com....

When you click on the blog nav it goes to the list of blogs posts (only one so far) but the header image that you have on your demo doesn't show up, only the thumbnail. I have uploaded the header image via composer and it is resized to 960x212. When you click on the thumbnail to get to the content of the blog, the header image isn't there either. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for your help, again :)

Cheers

First, you need to change the page list custom template on the main blog page to "Blog List".
https://www.concrete5.org/documentation/using-concrete5/in-page-edit...
Then, you need to be using the "Feature Image" attribute for the image, not "Header Image"

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the reply.

I have changed the custom template to Blog List on the main Blog page and used the feature image as you said.

It is all working now except on the main blog page, it shows the complete blog post. I have it set to truncate summaries 256 but it will only work if I set it to Blog index (then the feature image disappears).

I have implemented this code to this site and other sites to get the truncation to work properly.

Thanks again.

Hi Chris,

Sorry, maybe you missed the second part of my message:

It is all working now EXCEPT on the main blog page, it shows the complete blog post. I have it set to truncate summaries 256 but it will only work if I set it to Blog index (then the feature image disappears).

Thanks

I thought since you linked to that other thread you had figured it out yourself. Yeah, you would need to modify the page list template like that thread indicates
