Can't find Feature area & Site Title width

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I cannot find any feature area where I would put in the "text that slide or animate". I figured out how to change the featured image, but cannot get the text that should lay over like in the demo.

Also, I would like to make the Site Title area wider so that it can accommodate the whole site title on a single line. I would like the static nav bar to be shorter in height.

It appears that by default the site title is put in with H1 tag which makes it to big to see the "add to feature" box., but I still cannot figure how to add the animated or sliding text. Also, I would like to know how to reduce the height of the header nav

To change the height of the navbar you'll need to change a few items. Add this CSS to the Add your CSS box in the theme's customization page:
#nav .navbar-brand, #nav .navbar-brand h1 { line-height:50px; }
#nav .navbar-brand { height: 80px; }
@media (min-width: 768px) {
   #nav .navbar-nav > li > a {
      line-height:50px;
   }
}

You'll need to change the line-height and height px values accordingly. These are what they're set at currently.
