Changes to Slider Layout

Permalink Browser Info Environment
In the Triada Top Slider (Photo included) is there a way of either A. Making the Slider height taller, or B. giving me a way to raise the Text boxes within the slider? The text box runs under the page content below it if we add more than a single sentence and a button, and even then is so close to the top of the content page that it looks awkward. We would really like to use this feature on the site, but the content constraints are making the banner area impossible for us to use.

Thanks for any insight on this, I have been messing around with this, and I just can't figure out how to do either of these fixes.
