How it Works

This theme has two "sides" to it: Left and Right. When you click anywhere on the "intro" area (logo / title), it will slide and display the content. You can go back using the back arrow.

Each page can be uniquely configured using these page attributes:

  • Left / Right Title
  • Left / Right Subtitle
  • Left / Right Image
  • Left / Right Background Image
  • Disable "Prev / Next" nav
  • Disable Date Published

Setting Up a Page

  1. Select "Versus" page type.
  2. Select the "Versus" theme.
  3. Fill out associalted page attributes (optional).
  4. Publish.

You do not have to necessarily have to use the "versus" page type - it also works with any other page type. Just make sure that you added the above page attributes.

Edit Mode

When you first enter into "edit mode", you will still see the introduction areas. To add blocks, you will need to click on whatever side you wish to add content to. It should slide to the right or left, and you can then add blocks.

TIPS:

Moving / Managing Content: Due to the nature of this theme, moving a block from either side to the other is not ideal. The bets way to move a block from one side to another is to copy, then paste to the other side.

Best Used on Sub-Pages: This theme is best used on sub-pages. The "prev / next" navigation (arrows at top of page) only navigate to the pages on the same level as the current page. The "prev / next" navigation does NOT show up on the Home page, as there are no other pages on that level.

Images on Intro area should be square: The image that displays above the titles should be square. Best size is 150 x 150. Otherwise, the images will appear as an oval.
