Hutman News is an add-on for managing site news.  You get a dashboard page that allows you to add, edit or delete any news story site wide.  Adding news stories from the dashboard creates pages beneath any 'News Page' on your site.  Once you've added these pages, editing the page content also updates the content in the dashboard pages.

Archiving is done automatically by adding a "News Archive Page" underneath any "News Page" and giving it the proper handle. This handle is "archive" by default, you can change this from the settings panel.

Options you can set for each news story:

• Parent Page (News Section)
• Status (Public, Private, Disabled)
• Headline
• Byline
• Date
• Tags (used for filtering news lists)
• Thumbnail
• Short Story (WYSIWYG editor, shown in main list)
• Long Story (WYSIWYG editor, becomes a content block on the news item's page)
• Custom "News List" block for displaying news items around your site with a template for displaying 1 random news item in the sidebar from the full list generated by block options.
