Hi Im am new to using Themes and not clear about what we can add to it..
is it possible to have the following:
- Latest blog feed (with photo) on home page
- Social Media links on pages
- Can we embed video?

A theme gives you the basic look and layout of your site. What you add is up to you.
The way concrete5 works is - the theme designer adds editable areas to the theme which can have blocks added to them. It's up to you which blocks you use to add your content, so for instance to embed video you can use the Video Player or YouTube Video blocks by clicking on an editable area in a page and adding them.
Social media links can either be added just using the Content block and adding images and links (or html if you prefer), or you could choose a block from the marketplace such as this:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/social-sharing/...
A blog feed can be added by using the Page List block and choosing to show only Blog Entry page types. You may want to look into the blogging add-ons in the marketplace if you want a more Wordpress feeling to your blog.
