Colour coding multiple events on a single day in agenda view

I am trying to put together a quote for a client who runs a Music venue with 3 rooms. He wants to be able to use a calendar to display the events that run in each room every night by colour coding them.
So we have the basement, the main room & the loft which each host different events every night. He would like it if the calendar could list the next 7 days for example as dates and when the user hovers or clicks a dropdown or flyout reveals the events in each bar, colour coded or divided somehow. Is this possible?
