Event Page's "Event Date" attributes

Permalink Browser Info Environment
It appears there have been years since the last "Get Help" posted, and I'm not sure if any of these "New" posts have been addressed, but...

We have the time-zone set to LA in the config file, and the "Enable Time Zones" set in the Settings, with my (admin) set to LA time-zone. When I go to to a Calendar sub event page's properties and set the Event Start and End Dates, they revert to about 8 hours ahead. I've tried turning off the profile time-zone, etc, but nothing helps.

I suppose this may end up being my second unsupported calendar add-on that I request refund on unfortunately.

Hi Deladroid,
It sounds like you may have your php timezone set to something other than "America/Los_Angeles". One way to check the server timezone is to create a file in your webroot named something like "timezone.php" with the following code:
<?php
var_dump(ini_get('date.timezone'));

You can then navigate to to this file directly to see its output:http://example.com/timezone.php...

You should see something like
string(19) "America/Los_Angeles"

Any other string and you'll need to update your php.ini to reflect the correct timezone.

Best wishes,
Korvin

You were right, the time-zone on the php server wasn't set. All is good now!

Thank you!!
