adding new blog (not administrator) No sections defined. Please create...

Permalink Browser Info Environment
When a non root-administrator want to make a blog (through dashboard) I get the following message at the options: Sectie/locatie
No sections defined. Please create a page with the attribute "blog_section" set to true.

My non administrator can't save blog post due to this. It tried the following things:

Gave permission to the problog post pagetype.
In the pagetype settings I put 'always publish under page 'blog'.
I even made this user administrator, but it still didn't work (did remove cache from website and browser).

Ans yes there is a page with the attribute checked (page 'blog'), even this user can see that. As a root-administrator I can post blogs.

What to do to solve this problem?

Thanks!

hmmm. This may be a bug with posting under a page permissions check. Can you try changing it back the default install option "Choose From Blog Section Pages" and let me know if the problem still exists?

Hey,
I solved it on my end...
by following this:
https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/5-7-discussion/add-sub-pa...
and adding the user in the permission to "add page type" for the "ProBlog Page" type
Then had to do this as well:
https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/usage/advanced-permission...

Thanks,
Josh

I'm having this same problem and the linked posts in the last reply did not help. Any chance there will be an update to fix this?

I found that I needed to delete the default blog page that gets deployed at installation, and then create a new page and obviously assign that the Blog Post attribute.
