Are you planning on releasing a 5.7 version?

Hi,

I am wanting to build a 5.7 version of my site. Are you planning on releasing a 5.7 compatible version of your wonderful add-on?

Hi Wayne,

I really hope this can come to a head in the near future, but it's poor timing for me at the moment as I am planning a move from Detroit to the SF Bay Area by mid to late January.

I have played a bit with the 5.7 front-end, but have yet to dive into anything but the root of the new folder structure. From what I've seen so far, I may not have to do much, but investigating this further may be relegated to some time in February. I will do what I can to reduce this timeline as much as possible.

Much love,
Chloe

Thanks for your reply Chloe. February will be fine. I hope your move goes smoothly! :-)

Hi Wayne,

It is now September with very little in the way of progress on this happening. I wanted to extend an apology for not attending to this, but quite frankly, moving to California has changed a lot of priorities for me, including moving away from using C5 for many of my projects. That is not to say this is not a priority for me, but it will be some time before this is finished and my current due date is indefinite.

I did play around with it a couple months ago and am dealing with the growing pains of 5.7's way of doing things. I'll keep you updated as I know more.

Again, I apologize for this and am saddened that I can't make it move any faster.

It's OK Chloe, I fully understand your situation - life goes on, priorities change. In any case, you are not alone. Very few of the Add ons that I need have 5.7 versions/equivalents.

Are you aware of a 5.7 add on with similar functionality to yours?

Hi Wayne,

From a quick look this one is the closest, although you'll have to grab the URL from the iframe embed instead of being able to grab the more apparent URLs.

Maybe I'll look at the code of this one when I get a chance to get an idea of the direction to go. I should be able to just add in my algorithm to parse the urls and be good... We'll see. Knowing this, I may be able to get it done a little quicker.
