Is there a specific error message that you get when you try to install?
Yes, but it makes no sense!
I have an idea that it is conflicting with another add-on or trying to install on a upgraded site has some old leftovers.
But here is the error message:
Warning: require_once(/var/www/vhosts/c5demo6/c5demo6.mine.nu/httpdocs/concrete/blocks/quickie_player/controller.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/c5demo6/c5demo6.mine.nu/httpdocs/concrete/core/models/block_types.php on line 826 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/var/www/vhosts/c5demo6/c5demo6.mine.nu/httpdocs/concrete/blocks/quickie_player/controller.php' (include_path='/var/www/vhosts/c5demo6/c5demo6.mine.nu/httpdocs/libraries/3rdparty:/var/www/vhosts/c5demo6/c5demo6.mine.nu/httpdocs/concrete/libraries/3rdparty:.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/vhosts/c5demo6/c5demo6.mine.nu/httpdocs/concrete/core/models/block_types.php on line 826
Funny part is that block_types.php only has 6 lines of code:

Just tried some test.
Tried to install the FlowPlayer Free package. I got the exact same error. I actually think it is a core bug, but I am not totally sure!

Just for you to know. It seems that this is a core problem. Read the following bug rapport:

It does install on a new clean installation, but not on a site updated from 5.6.0.2 to 5.6.1
