Hi.
This add-on works great but it would be even better if it could do the following (whihc our client requested)
1. We would like the ability for the conversations to be page independent. We have a client area that could contain sharing box and so conversations between any user and the client (both questions and replays) would display. We don't wish conversations taking place on other clients pages showing up on another.
I have done some testing using you add-on and at the moment when I am signed in as testuser1, I leave a message on testuser2's sharing box. Because sharing box has been set to testuser2's profile and/or the specific user, testuser1 can not see the question and the other can not see the reply.
is there a way around this already or can it be developed to do so?
2. Email notification. The ability to notify the client that a question has been posted. This would be a great addition.
Hope you don't mind. We have a huge project coming up and this addon looks great but needs the above functionality. What would you charge if we were to commission the additions?

I like the ideas layed out here. What Im running into that Id like to see in Sharingbox, is to be able to use it as a page specific comments system for the site. Include a couple sitewide post types like "user posted a comment on pagename" and "user replied to a comment", an option to NOT post the stream to the sitewide postings, and an option to turn off said emails and you got yourself another package!! As far as the "friending" situation goes iv just removed some code to get rid of the share with links, as the site im currently building will not be friend based and will be publicly viewable to all registered users. An option to remove those would be nifty too!!
The page specific request is a good one and I will see if it can be worked into the existing architecture without refactoring the whole project. I'll keep you posted on that!
Currently, the user profile view is intended more as a view of posts from that user, not a user specific wall (think facebook). This is a tough one because I don't think that many users use the friending features of concrete5 as much as I would hope (this is how it would work in my mind). I'll dig into how this could be accomplished, but would run along the same idea of a page specific wall.
